The new Maternity Hospital was opened

The three hospitals were amalgamated in the name of the " Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital " which was incorporated by Ordinance under the name of "The Executive Committee of The Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital"

First hospital adopting the Unit Medical Record System in Hong Kong

First hospital providing volunteer-operated tuck shop service advocating the spirit of volunteerism

First hospital providing formal community nursing training

The Chaplaincy Service provided clinical pastoral care to patients and their family members
     
Year 1973

Assisted in the commissioning of the United Christian Hospital ("UCH") in Kwun Tong

Put into practice "Hospital without wall" through the "Kwun Tong Community Health Project"
     
Year 1974

The Nethersole School of Nursing moved to UCH and was managed by the hospital. It continued to attract the graduates to serve in both the Nethersole Hospital and UCH after graduation

Relocated from Bonham Road to and assisted in the commissioning of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan
   
Year 1997

New Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital inaugurated in Tai Po, promoting the design of an intelligent building with therapeutic healthscape

Established United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCNCHS) with sister organization, United Christian Medical Service, advocating healthy lifestyle towards the goal of "Health for All 2000"

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) courses were introduced to train professional chaplains and committed volunteers. The CPE courses attained international standard
   
Year 1999

Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Nursing Home in Kowloon Bay inaugurated, one of the new nursing homes pioneered by the Hong Kong Government, providing long-term medical and nursing care to the elderly

Established the first Home Help Service with UCNCHS

CPE courses were accredited by the supervisors of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education in USA and recognized as a role model for the Asia Pacific Region
     
Year 2000
Piloted the Home-based Rehabilitation Service in Tai Po providing outreaching rehabilitation (physio and occupational therapy) to the needy in the community.
   
Year 2002

The Nethersole Institute of Continuing Holistic Health Education (NICHE) was established with the aim to propagate the mission of our organization - " To bring Life to Mankind in its Fullness through enhancement of Wellness of the Total Person and Compassion Care of the Sick" through research and education

Chaplaincy Service was restructured and renamed as "Nethersole Chaplaincy Ministries" in preparation for a more diversified and external service development.

The Nethersole School of Nursing merged with the Department of Nursing of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in continuation of promoting nursing education and training
   
Year 2003
With 86 government-subsidized and 54 non-government-subsidized places, Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Elderly Care Home in Sau Mau Ping, Kwun Tong was established to provide nursing and residential care to the needy elders.
     
Year 2005
Since the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital actively promoted health education and safety culture in the community, Tai Po was designated as a " Safe Community " by WHO Collaboration Centre on Community Safe Promotion
     
Year 2007
Established United Christian Nethersole Care Home with sister organization, the United Christian Medical Service (UCMS), a self-financing nursing home with 163 non-government subsidized places providing long-term and short-term residential care to the needy persons.
     
Year 2008
The Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation Ordinance was gazetted and enacted.
