採取合適措施降低洗衣房和倉庫的環境溫度

星期到病房或部門探訪,以助新同事融入
新環境和促進學習。計劃實施六個月後進
行檢討,顯示新聘員工普遍認同入職導引
活動非常實用,並認為獲得臨床導師支持
及教授專業知識尤為重要。此外,中央護
理部進行了一項有關「病房基本護理」的調
查,收集註冊護士和登記護士的意見。調
查結果於二零一四年九月舉行的半天工作
坊上發表。該工作坊旨在促進專業護理發
展,參加者包括病房經理和副經理。為推
廣全人關顧及以病人為先的護理訊息,在
那打素全人健康持續進修學院(「
NICHE
」)和
本院的員工緊急事故支援小組的支持下,
我們成功舉辦一系列的分享會。
為推廣關懷及安全工作文化,職業安全及
健康委員會繼續在醫院內推行「持續質素改
善」項目。年內,委員會特別為員工提供即
棄安全手術刀,預防他們工作時被利器割
傷。此外,為避免員工因針頭和其他鋒利
物件造成損傷,委員會將繼續尋找合適的
抽血用具,並向員工推廣安全操作方法。
根據「機構認證評審」對洗衣房和倉庫的環
境溫度建議,委員會進行熱力壓力測試,
分析影響環境和員工的因素,並尋找可予
改善的範圍。因應調查結果,本院推行了
多項降溫措施,包括安裝隔熱管道、維修
冷氣機、添置新冷氣機和使用隔熱牆。委
員會將於實施措施一年後檢視洗衣房和倉
庫的環境溫度。
facilitated new recruits’ integration and learning. The Programme
was reviewed after six months of its commencement, that the new
hires found the induction very useful and important to have clinical
mentors offered support and expertise in all clinical areas. Besides,
CND conducted a survey, “Basic Nursing Care in wards” collecting
feedbacks from registered nurses and enrolled nurses. The survey
report was presented in a half day workshop, which aimed at
facilitating professional nursing development with the participation
of ward managers and deputy managers in September 2014. To
promote holistic and patient-centred care, a comprehensive range
of sharing sessions and workshops were organized with the support
of the Nethersole Institute of Continuing Holistic Health Education
(NICHE) and the hospital’s Critical Incident Support Team (CIST).
Promoting a caring and safety culture within the Hospital,
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee continued to
implement the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects in
the hospital. During the year, the OSH Committee aimed to prevent
sharp injury at the workplace with the provision of disposable safety
scalpel for staff members. The Committee would proceed to look for
suitable devices for blood taking on prevention of needlestick and
sharp injury and promotion of safe practices. Another programme,
which began with the consideration of the recommendations
from the surveyor at Organization Wide Survey (OWS) reviewed
the environmental temperature in laundry and store rooms.
The Committee conducted a heat stress assessment analyzing
the influencing factors of both the environment and staff and
identifying areas for improvements. Consequently, measures were
taken to reduce the temperature, including the installation of heat
pipe insulation, repair to the existing air conditioner, acquisition of
newair conditioner and application of wall insulation. The Committee
would examine the environmental temperature in laundry and
store rooms after one year of the measures implementation.
