東區尤德夫人那打素醫院（下稱「東區醫
院」）隸屬於醫院管理局（下稱「醫管局」）港
島東醫院聯網（下稱「聯網」），是港島東區
的大型急症醫院。東區醫院與聯網其他五
間醫院互相補足及協作，為港島東區、灣
仔區以及離島（北大嶼山除外）

專職醫療及以社區為本的護理服務。聯網
亦管理

所普通科門診（其中八間位於巿
區，另外四間位於長洲、南丫島和坪洲等
離島）。此外，香港防癆心臟及胸病協會亦
透過健康教育活動，支援聯網基層及中層
疾病預防服務。
東區醫院與其前身雅麗氏何妙齡那打素醫
院保持密切聯繫，而後者的母會 — 雅麗氏
何妙齡那打素慈善基金會仍繼續支持本院
的院牧服務和社區及病人資源中心。
The Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) is one of the
six hospitals in the Hong Kong East Cluster (HKEC) of the Hospital
Authority (HA) which serves a population of 0.78 million of the
Eastern and Wanchai Districts of Hong Kong Island and the Islands
(excluding North Lantau). PYNEH, together with the five other cluster
hospitals, provide a full range of comprehensive inpatient, outpatient,
ambulatory, accident & emergency, allied health and community-
based healthcare services. There are 12 general outpatient clinics:
eight in urban areas and four on the outlying islands of Cheung
Chau, Lamma and Peng Chau. Primary and secondary prevention is
supported by the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest & Heart Diseases
Association through health education programmes.
PYNEH maintains close links with its predecessor, the Alice Ho Miu
Ling Nethersole Hospital and her parent organization, the Alice
Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation which continues to
support PYNEH’s Chaplaincy Service and Community and Patient
Resource Centre.
