護養院位於九龍灣健康中心，由政府資助，

歲或以上的長者提供長期住院護理服
務，於一九九九年投入服務，並於二零零
二年五月增設床位至

護康院由基督教聯合醫務協會開辦，並由
本會成立的雅麗氏何妙齡那打素社福有
限公司管理的自負盈虧私營院舍。院舍設
於觀塘基督教聯合醫院內，於二零零七年
八月啟用，提供護養程度的住宿和復康服
務，目前設有約
130
個私家宿位，並在社會
福利署的「護養院宿位買位計劃」下，為政
府提供
22
個高度照顧宿位；另設兩個「離院
長者綜合支援計劃」宿位，讓基督教聯合醫
院有需要的病人在出院後獲得短暫住宿照
顧，並提供切合他們復康需要的訓練，以
及紓緩醫院床位擁擠情況。該院不設年齡
限制，歡迎有短期及長期護理需要的人士
申請入住。

學院於二零零二年成立，持守使命：「倡
導終身學習以索求全人健康為享受豐盛生
命，結合科學藝術以實踐全人關顧為提供
優質服務」。藉教育、出版、研究等工作，
實踐理論。繼續發揚與落實那打素逾百載
的「矜憫為懷」的精神，「全人健康、全人
關顧」的文化。以體驗的教育模式保存及鞏
固那打素醫護傳統，透過與醫護人員和機
構的合作，積極促進各階層人士關注全人健
康，進而助人得享豐盛的生命。

「家居復康服務」於二零零零年四月一日
正式開展。服務使命是發揚那打素精神 ─
model for the Asia Pacific Region. Since 2002, our Chaplaincy Service
has been re-structured and re-named as “Nethersole Chaplaincy
Ministries” to cope with a more diversified service development,
with current service extended to Hospital’s Chinese Medicine
Clinic, community outpatient service, and Elderly Homes of
the Foundation.
Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Nursing Home
Situated in the Kowloon Bay Health Centre, the Home is subvented
by the Government, providing long term residential care to senior
citizens at the age of 65 or above who require considerable medical
and nursing attention. The Home has commenced service since
1999. From May 2002, the number of beds increased to 238.
United Christian Nethersole Care Home
Operated by the United Christian Medical Service (UCMS) and
managed by the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Social Service
Limited wholly-owned by the Foundation, this self-financed Home
is situated at the United Christian Hospital in Kwun Tong. The Home
has commenced operation since August 2007, providing nursing
and residential care, and rehabilitation services to the people in
need. Currently, it provides about 130 self-financed places, and
22 places under the “Nursing Home Place Purchase Scheme” of
Social Welfare Department. The Home has also provided two
transitional residential care beds to the patients discharged from the
United Christian Hospital requiring short-term rehabilitation service
before they return home. There is no age limit for our residents
and any persons requiring short-term or long-term nursing care
are welcome.
Nethersole Institute of Continuing Holistic Health
Education
Nethersole Institute of Continuing Holistic Health Education
(NICHE) was established in 2002 and sticks to the mission of
“promoting lifelong learning in the pursuit of holistic health for a
life in abundance; and in the art and science of holistic health care
in order to serve with quality”. Theory is put into practice through
education, publication and research, etc. NICHE continues the
Nethersole spirit of “Compassionate Care” and its culture of “Holistic
Health and Holistic Care”. Experiential educational model has been
used to retain and consolidate the Nethersole tradition. NICHE
builds up partnership with medical and nursing professions, and
other organizations through collaboration to arouse the awareness
of people from different walks of life on holistic health, so that they
can enjoy lives in abundance.
Nethersole Outreaching Rehabilitation Mission
“Home Based Rehabilitation Service”was inaugurated on 1 April 2000.
The mission is“to provide holistic care with a compassionate heart, to
