病理化驗
我們於本年度為

人次提供病理檢驗
服務，並向私營和學術機構提供病理檢驗
服務，如繼續與香港大學家庭醫學及基層
醫療系合作，為「健康評估支援服務東涌研
究項目」提供病理化驗服務。我們繼續參加
由香港醫務化驗學會（
HKIMLS
）、澳洲病理
學家皇家學院（
RCPA
）和美國病理學家學會
（
CAP
）等本地和國際機構舉辦的專業品質監
控計劃，以確保我們的服務質素。我們又
添置了兩部免疫學測試儀器，以提升檢測
服務。
Diagnostic Imaging
Apart from offering concessions on dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry
(DEXA) examination to the elderly at the Jordan Health Centre,
we also offered concessions at the Jockey Club Tin Shui
Wai Community Health Centre to our patients and the patients
of Pok Oi Hospital and Tuen Mun Hospital for DEXA examination,
mammography and some ultrasonic examinations. Our total
service attendance in 2014/15 was 26,980, with 23,356 receiving
general X-ray, 1,190 DEXA, 1,056 mammography and 1,378
ultrasonic examination.
Pathology Laboratory
We recorded 42,258 cases this year while providing our services to
private and academic sectors such as the University of Hong Kong,
offering laboratory services to the “Health Assessment Support
Services Research Projects”. At the same time, we went on with
quality assurance programmes held by both local and overseas
organizations such as Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory
Services (HKIMLS), The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia
(RCPA) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) to ensure
top-notch quality services. Two immunology instruments were
acquired this year to enhance in-house testing services.
