Sir Kai Ho Kai generously made a donation for the building of the Alice Memorial Hospital, introducing western medicine to local Chinese. In the same year, Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese was established, pioneering local medical training. The committee members of the new medical school included Rev. Dr. J.
